New Device Reduces Seizures, No Surgery Required
The experimental device uses small patches placed on the surface of the skin, above the eyebrows, to electrically stimulate a nerve that leads into the brain. The approach appears to control epileptic seizures without the fatigue or problems with mood and thinking associated with some anti-seizure drugs.
